Over the years I have become something of a portable CD-player connoisseur. And I was right. jk. The others worked fine, channeled my music through my Sony MDR-XD100 headphones at a high quality. But recently I broke two of my players, so it was time to look for a newer, less expensive machine. The price of the Coby player is what attracted me to it.
Other defects, or shortcomings, include the ancient format of the Play/Stop/Forward/Rewind buttons. But I was also extraordinarily disappointed. Second of all - one touch, or even the remote thought of a touch will interrupt your music. They're so big and inconvenient.Anyway, without becoming too upset I would warn you not to buy a CD player from Coby. That should be nuff said. Indeed, I have many leather-bound portable CD-players in my portable CD-player library.
First of all, one touch, or even the remote thought of a touch, will interrupt your disc for a second or two, at least. Or anything else from a company that sells rubbish products like this. I have, however, bought units from Sony, Panasonic, Philips, and now Coby. I thought, wow, for twelve dollars and the price of shipping I could have a new, black portable player.
Portable and easy to use It arrived on time and in good shape it is the right product for me.
Only one little problem: it stops for a second when it gets jarred. Great sound.worth the money.there is nicer ones out there, but this one is a good deal for the price.
OTHER THAN THAT IT WORKS FINE. FROM WHAT I CAN TELL IT IS OK. BUT YOUR COMPANY NEEDS TO WORK ON THE SKIPING PROBLEM.
A better quality one was purchased and is working fine. It would not work properly thereafter and it was returned. This CD player should go under the heading "you get what you pay for." It was cheap, and performed accordingly. The second time it was used, it stopped playing.
